One million vaccinations have now been administered in Manitoba. This represents about two-thirds of eligible Manitobans who have received at least one dose of vaccine. That is a significant accomplishment and we thank the many Manitobans who have done their part and already rolled up their sleeve to take part in this historic immunization campaign.
The vaccine is one tool we can use to help reduce the risk of COVID-19. If we all get immunized, we can protect ourselves, protect our families and protect Manitoba.

It’s an incredible milestone in the fight against COVID-19: Manitoba has given 1 million doses of vaccine. We could not have done it without the support of our vaccine clinic staff, the Vaccine Implementation Task Force and the hundreds of thousands of Manitobans who rolled up their sleeves to help #ProtectMB
Tell us your #1MThanksMB story - Is there someone who helped encourage you to get vaccinated? An experience at the clinic you want to celebrate? Another reason to say "Thank you!" for vaccines and the Manitoba vaccination program? Share it here, and we'll share it with Manitobans.
Thank you for sharing your #1MThanksMB #ProtectMB story with us.
Our first shot was April 1st in Morris. We didn't know what to expect but we were so happy with their process! In and out in 45 min! Great job Morris. Our 2nd dose of Moderna was on June 13, 2pm in Morden! Everything ran so smoothly, all the clinic workers were outstanding. Michelle gave us our shot and she was a hoot!! Didn't feel a thing! She was so joyful and commented twice how much she liked my purse. On the way out the lady at the exit doors said, "You better get out of here before you lose... Continue reading
Once again, I wish to commend the vaccine task force members along with all their staff members and volunteers who are doing such great work over at the RBC Convention Centre with the vaccine rollouts!
My husband and I received our second doses finally of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday, June 14, 2021, and once again were very impressed with the work the whole team there are doing with welcoming people and answering any questions while we were directed to the vaccine jab area. We were pleasantly surprised that despite the fact that we were unable to get our... Continue reading
Thank you to everyone who organizes and works at the vaccine sites. I went to the RBC site for my first vaccine. Everyone was so helpful and the process was smooth. Thank you also to the IT people who set up the websites such as this one, to do surveys, and to make vaccine appointments and see my vaccination record. You’re all a blessing!
Keystone - so well organized, thank you. For my first shot, a special thank you to the man that saw me coming across the parking lot with my cane. It was a really hot afternoon and I was very slow walking. He came running out and asked if I needed a wheelchair and when I said "no, I was fine with my cane" he escorted me right into the building and made sure I was OK. When I left, he walked me out to my car.
With seemingly everything shut down for ever, when my wife and I went for our shots it felt like a "date night"! I guess we were finally doing something special together!
When we went for first shots in mid-May, it ran like a well-oiled machine. It was a very efficient set-up by then. Congrats on a successful roll-out!
My 26 year old daughter faints at the sight of a needle. Me being the nurse I am convinced her after a month of discussions to get it!! I knew a nurse working in the RBC convention Center, text her to help me out , we laid her down , she spoke with her ,as my daughters anxiety was through the roof , we she didn’t feel it , as the nurse kept her mind busy on other things,, my daughter had to remain laying down , as she still was faint able , but Yahoo it elevated lots of... From the moment I made my appointment by phone, started receiving excellent service. The agent told us every detail that we need to know before the vaccination date. When arrived at the vaccination center, was more than surprised by the organization and all the details covered by the team in charge. I felt very secure during the process. My spouse was a little nervous because of the vaccine itself, but with all the conditions in place, she felt more secure as well. Very happy with all the conditions the government and medical professionals are doing to get the vaccination process... Continue reading
The experience for my whole family has been seamless. The booking process online was easy, the parking, the greeting, the directions, support and friendliness… all of it was wonderful. Thank you for providing my family with the hope for their future!
Like for so many, the pandemic has been extremely difficult on my 12 year old's mental health. I've worried endlessly about how each new round of public health orders would impact her. With remote school, and inability to see friends and family- her once vibrant and shiny personality was extinguished. When she heard the news that children 12 and up would be eligible for a vaccine, she told me it's the only thing that has brought her hope in the past 16 months. Since getting her first shot - I am starting to see the joyful and happy young lady... Continue reading
After booking my appointment, I was worried it would be a long and tedious process - I couldn't have been more wrong! I was so impressed by how quick and efficient the whole process was. The staff were incredibly friendly and the whole appointment was a delight. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers!
