Poverty Reduction Strategy Consultation

The Poverty Reduction Strategy Act was passed in 2011 and requires government to implement a long-term strategy to reduce poverty and increase social inclusion in Manitoba. The act requires Manitoba’s poverty reduction strategy be reviewed and updated at least once every five years.

A meaningful poverty reduction strategy is devoted to addressing the needs of demographic groups who are highly, if not totally, dependent on the care of their families, communities or service providers to live a good quality of life. These groups are Manitoba’s most vulnerable – and those in greatest need of support.

Please share your thoughts with us. The survey is anonymous and confidential*. The survey will take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Please respond no later than November 15, 2024.
