Poverty Reduction Strategy Consultation – Meeting Details

By tailoring engagement strategies to the specific interests, needs and preferences of each stakeholder group, the public engagement process can be more inclusive, informative and effective in shaping the renewal of Manitoba’s poverty reduction strategy.

  • Stakeholder Engagements: These roundtable discussions are being held to gather input from representatives of front-line service providers working in poverty alleviation. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the poverty reduction strategy renewal process, ask questions and share their perspectives.
  • Indigenous Engagements: Engaging directly with Indigenous rightsholder, stakeholders, individuals and communities, while respecting traditional protocols and ensuring meaningful participation of Elders, Knowledge Keepers and community members, will ensure Indigenous Manitobans have the opportunity to learn about the poverty reduction strategy renewal process, ask questions and share their perspectives.
  • Public Engagements: Interactive workshops in diverse neighborhoods and regions across Manitoba will provide residents with opportunities to learn about the poverty reduction strategy renewal process, ask questions and share their perspectives.
