Manitobans are invited to provide feedback on the Manitoba Supports for Persons with Disabilities (MSPD) program to ensure services are accessible and responsive to the needs of those accessing the program.
The MSPD program has been supporting low-income Manitobans with severe and prolonged disabilities since April of 2023. Since then, some changes have been made to the way services are provided. The Manitoba Government wants to hear from MSPD participants and people who support them to understand if the program continues to meet their needs.
The engagement includes a survey and focus groups and will focus on the following topics:
accessing the program
communication
the client enrolment experience
general feedback on the program
Additional focus group topics may be held as we consider the comments received.
The Manitoba government remains committed to ensuring the voices of people with disabilities are included in the design of its disability support programs. We look forward to hearing from you!
