Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure’s motor carrier safety program issues safety fitness certificates and monitors the carrier profiles of Manitoba-based motor carriers and operators.
Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure strives to keep our province’s roadways safe for all who use them. We do this by maintaining carrier profiles on Manitoba‑based motor carriers and assigning each carrier a safety rating through the annual safety fitness certificate renewal process. A carrier’s profile is used to assess if the carrier has demonstrated safe operation and compliance with applicable highway safety laws and regulations relating to motor carriers and the National Safety Code standards.
To improve our services to clients, the safety program is collecting information from carriers who have recently received services from our Safety Program staff.
