National Housing Strategy


Manitobans are invited to share their views and provide feedback on housing needs, priorities and solutions.

Affordable housing is a cornerstone of sustainable, inclusive communities. Achieving positive housing outcomes for Manitobans requires collaboration between all levels of government, communities, non-profit organizations and the private sector.

As part of the National Housing Strategy (NHS) agreement with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), Manitoba Housing is required to submit an action plan every three years that describes how NHS funding will contribute to access to affordable housing.

Your feedback will help inform the next action plan, as well as helping develop solutions to address housing issues in your community.
