Manitobans are invited to provide feedback on open engagements available on this site and to view reports and information from recent public engagements.

New - Income Support Program for Persons with Severe and Prolonged Disabilities Update

As part of the development of a new income support program, the Manitoba government introduced legislated that created a new income support for individuals living with severe and prolonged disabilities.

Previous engagements occurred prior to the legislation in November 2019, in February 2021 and during Summer and Fall 2022.

    In 2019, we heard from Manitobans that a new program for persons with severe and prolonged disabilities should include a “service navigation” component. We welcome your feedback to help guide program design and understand what service navigation means to you.
