Healthy Parenting Website Transition

    Healthy Parenting Winnipeg is being transitioned from a regional to provincial website. This will include a name change and the addition of each region’s links to their public health resources. The purpose of this survey is to collect feedback from public health staff in each of Manitoba’s Regional Health Authorities. The feedback will be used to inform the transition process. All responses are confidential and the survey results will be shared with the Regional Health Authorities.

    The survey will take approximately 10 minutes. If you have not had the opportunity to look at the site, please review prior to taking the survey: Healthy Parenting Winnipeg. 

    Please complete the survey by June 30, 2023. 

    Background

    Healthy Parenting Winnipeg was created as a health intervention tool, providing families with access to information that is: 

    • evidence based 
    • timely and up to date 
    • accessible 24-hours a day, seven days a week
    • consistent across the health care system
    • based on population public health principles (harm reduction, inclusive language, diverse, etc.)
    • written at a grade six language level 
    • available in French and English

     The primary intended audience is Manitoba families/caregivers (pregnancy to children age 5). Secondary users include healthcare providers, child care, government and community agencies.
