Developing a Trails Plan for Duck Mountain Provincial Park
The Manitoba government is developing a Trails Plan for Duck Mountain Provincial Park. The purpose of the Trails Plan will be to provide long-term direction for the future of recreational trail use and development in the park.
Engagement with Indigenous communities, park users and stakeholders, and trail groups is taking place over the next few weeks so that Manitoba Parks and Trails can collect input on how people use and value trails in the park and identify trails-related issues and opportunities. This input will then be considered in the development of a draft Trails Plan.
A backgrounderhas been prepared to provide a summary of the natural and recreational features of Duck Mountain Provincial Park, as well as a brief overview of some of the challenges associated with managing trails in the park.
Help us develop the Trails Plan for Duck Mountain Provincial Park by completing the survey linked below. You can also use the Map Tool below to show where you use trails in the park and share your ideas about specific locations.
This engagement will be open until February 23, 2026. For more details, please contact MBTrails@gov.mb.ca.
