Apprenticeship and Certification Board 2023-2028 Strategic Plan


The Apprenticeship and Certification Board is creating a new five-year Strategic Plan for 2023-2028. We invite you to provide your feedback on how the apprenticeship and certification system in Manitoba can be improved and to inform the development of the new strategic plan.

The board is hosting a series of engagement opportunities to help inform and develop their strategic plan. Your input will help shape the next five years’ priorities so that the apprenticeship training and certification system continues to provide the skilled workforce Manitoba needs while providing excellent service to industry, apprentices, and all key stakeholders.

A backgrounder on this engagement is available to help understand the current state in Manitoba.

There are many ways to participate:

The board will finalize the Apprenticeship and Certification Board Strategic Plan: 2023-2028 and present the plan to the Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Immigration in early 2023.

    The Apprenticeship and Certification Board is mandated to create a new five-year Strategic Plan for 2023-2028. Part of this process requires industry engagement and consultation with stakeholders. Stakeholders are being invited to provide input on priorities to focus on over the next five years. The Board will consider the information within the survey and the feedback from the consultation sessions to develop its strategic plan.
