The Worker Recruitment and Protection Act Review

Manitoba Labour and Immigration is undertaking a legislative review of The Worker Recruitment and Protection Act (WRAPA) and its regulation focused on temporary foreign worker protections and enforcement. Interest holder input is being sought to:

  • Understand issues facing foreign workers and supporting agencies in Manitoba.
  • Improve protections for foreign workers by addressing gaps in the legislation, aligning with best practices and current policy direction.
  • Increase innovation and partnerships for more effective implementation and compliance.
  • Improve clarity and accessibility of the legislation.

Your feedback will help shape amendments to modernize, clarify and improve the legislation.
