The proposed regulatory project will modernize safety standards and requirements for elevating and amusement devices in Manitoba and represents Phase 1 of the implementation of the new Technical Safety Regulation (TSR), which will replace the current outdated legislative framework for technical safety equipment in Manitoba with a single unified regulation under The Technical Safety Act (TSA).
