Manitoba’s provincial parks protect and maintain more than four million hectares of land and water in 92 provincial parks for your enjoyment and adventure. In addition to the annual funding the provincial government spends to operate, support and enhance provincial parks, Manitoba has now also invested $20 million into new Provincial Parks Endowment Funds.
These funds are expected to generate as much as $1 million per year in annual revenue to support projects that will enhance the ecological integrity and visitor experiences in provincial parks. Each year, priorities for these generated revenues will be determined through public engagement. This is where we need your input.
