Proposed amendments to Agricultural Crown Lands Leases and Permits Regulation

The proposed amendment responds to the Agricultural Crown Lands Program Review by introducing a pathway to consecutive lease renewals on certain agricultural leases issued since 2019. Changes include moving forage lease allocation away from auction while ensuring continued eligibility for Indigenous governments and organizations and a limit is proposed to address concentration of holdings.
