Amendments to the Poultry Products Regulation and Food and Food Handling Establishments Regulation

Poultry Products Regulation, amendment

The proposed Poultry Products Regulation, amendment will allow for the sale of ungraded eggs at public / farmers’ markets subject to conditions. It will also bring over a proposed repeal of the uninspected poultry section from the Food and Food Handling Establishments Regulation, repeal the inactive poultry dealer licensing requirements and refer to the correct federal legislation.

Food and Food Handling Establishments Regulation, amendment

The proposed Food and Food Handling Establishments Regulation (FFHER), amendment will allow for the sale of ungraded eggs at public / farmers’ markets subject to conditions. The proposed amendment will also repeal the uninspected poultry section from the FFHER due to the provisions being moved to the Poultry Products Regulation.
