The last provincial water management strategy for Manitoba was completed in 2003. Much has changed over the last 20 years and a new water strategy will ensure effective and sustainable management of our water resources. A made-in-Manitoba, comprehensive water management strategy is needed to set out the path forward, outlining our goals and how we intend to meet them. Engagement with Manitobans, provincial, local and federal governments, Indigenous communities and organizations, industry, and other agencies will support development of the strategy.
