Public Safety Summit

Too many Manitobans are feeling unsafe at home, at work, and in our communities. And at the same time, more Manitobans are struggling with chronic homelessness, mental health and addictions. We know that more needs to be done to address these issues in our province.

Our government is tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime. We believe that we can do big things if we come together as one Manitoba. On April 30, we brought together community partners, Indigenous leadership and stakeholders from law enforcement, non-profit organizations, restorative justice and service providers for the Manitoba government’s Public Safety Summit.

Our government will also be reaching out to stakeholders across the province to get their input as we work to make sure Manitoba families feel safe in their communities.
